5 Oz Canal Monster Needlefish Wood Lure Kits

Over 11" long and 5 Oz size, stainless steel thru-wired this is a super BIG needlefish!
5/8" molded eyes and all kits are sanded out to 150 grit and require minimal fine sanding.
All components are included except for split rings and hooks which we recommend
VMC 5/0 treble hook for the belly and a 5/0 dressed treble or 8/0-9/0 Siwash on the tail of this lure.
We use only USA made components in our kits!

Very simple retrieve on this lure, either walk it up top, or let it sink and fish the bottom.
This kit can also be modified to add an additional belly hook between the front existing hook and the tail of the lure.
This needlefish is an advanced kit. It requires installing multiple lead weights with epoxy and re-drilling the thru-wire with a 5/32x4" drill bit.
We recommend this is done with a battery drill or hand drill for safety. It requires sealing, minor sanding, and painting/finishing.
These kits are all turned on our dedicated kit cnc machine and drilled with precision and duplication second to none!

Can be painted with Salty's Lure Paint, Createx Air brush paints, or with acrylic paints and a small brush from AC Moore,
let them dry thoroughly and coat with a few coats of clear spray paint or brush with epoxy etc in thin coats for more durability.
Lures need to be finish sealed to prevent water intrusion. More information on our free lure forum linked above.

Please note this kit is too large to fit in a small parts order shipment. Lg sized box used with this kit for shipping & may cost additional. We had to apply for a new Zip Code it's so big :)

This is how we turn these kits...Our automated backnife lathe cuts the bodies at 3-4 a minute.
Then they are hand sanded on our high speed production lathe to 150 grit.
All the drilling functions are done by custom designed CNC machines built in our shop.
